Walking
with the Alexander Technique
Snowdonia
In the woods, up craggy footpaths, along mountain ridges, managing difficult descents, enjoy the benefits of walking, without undue wear and tear, stress and strain on joints and muscles. Widely recognised as one of the most effective self-help techniques for posture and awareness
The Alexander Technique can help you:
- Regain poise and confidence
- Improve breathing and Cardio muscular effectiveness
- Gain more vitality and pleasure in movement
- Reduce injury through awareness and “thinking in Action”
Our weekend workshops "Walking with the Alexander Technique" are an enjoyable and effective introduction to the practice.
Location
Llanberis, in the heart of Snowdonia. Nita’s B&B is on The High Street, close to restaurants, cafés, Outdoor shops, and an excellent wholefood shop.
Wherever possible, I use organic or locally produced food. The house is comfortable with a wood burning stove. There are two double and two single rooms available. We will also make use of the Pilates Centre, at Caban enetreprise centre in Brynrefail, which is 4kms away.
The centre has a bright open working space, as well as an excellent café.
